St. Mark’s Boys Town High School is situated at Jahanuma, in the Old city of Hyderabad. Boys Town was established in the year 1955.

Rev.Bro. John of the Sacred Heart was the first Principal. It is a co-education school rendering education to every one irrespective of caste, creed and religion with a special emphasis to the economically poor and destitute children. Responding to the need of the time and place, co-education was started in the year 1990-91. The total strength of the school is 3119 students (Boys – 1902 & Girls-1217) with 5 sections in each class and there is about 100 staff members part of the Boys Town Family.

The School has secured 100% results for 12 times with an average percentage of Pass 93%. 14 Boys and 4 girls have been selected for National games (Foot Ball and Basket Ball) and won Gold and silver medals. The School has 2 troops of NCC and Scouts & Guides. 8 scouts and 8 guides have taken part in Mini Jumboree held at Jeedimetla. Scouts & Guides have participated in Rajiv Sadbhavana, Divas Gandhi Jayanthi etc.

The selfless service rendered by the Brothers was commendable and appreciated by the various inspecting officers, heads of the departments of the State and Central in general and particularly by the Education Dept.
