History
St. Mark’s Boys Town, Jahanuma, Hyderabad was established on the 1st of August, 1955 by the Society of the Brothers of St. Gabriel who do yeoman service in the field of education in India and abroad.
It is a minority institution established by the Catholic faith.
Boys Town consists of an Industrial Training Centre, a High School and an Orphanage.
The Industrial Training Centre prepares trainees for the I.T.C.Examination.
The School is recognised by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh now (Telangana), prepares students for the Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) Examination through English Medium.
The Orphanage which is attached to this institution has nearly 400 inmates of different faiths. They are looked after and educated by the Brothers.
