Words by Our Retired Staff

Anees Fatima

I joined St. Mark’s Boys Town High School in June 1990 and worked as a school assistant for a period of sixteen years at this prestigious institution. During my tenure, I had the honour of teaching English and biology to the high school students.

Teaching and learning is a reciprocal process. While teaching the high school students, I felt that I learned a lot from them too. When I look back at this golden period, I feel very proud to be a part of the ‘Boys Town Family’.

Today I see many of my students in various faculties all over the world. I really feel very proud of them for they have added feathers in the cap of ‘Boys Town’.

I thank all the Directors and all the Principals under whose guidance I served this institution. I also thank all my colleagues for all their support and the wonderful memories.

Dr. Samuel Prabhu Kiran Gattu

Dear all,

I am glad to share in a few lines about my experience at St. Marks’ Boys Town High, Jahanuma, from June 1991 to July 2005 as a Grade 1 Physical Director.

It was indeed a great & unforgettable experience and a platform for me to begin my career at this reputed Institution, under able guidance of Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel’s and my senior colleagues. They have nurtured me to what I am today, I shall always remain indebted to them for the trust they had in me, tuning a raw person I like me into a matured teacher. In my 29th year journey as a Physical Educationist 14 years at Boys Town had been the most memorable and the prime time of my career. I take the pride, pleasure and privilege for being a part of this magnificent Institution.

I am happy to share  my amazing experience working as a junior assistant for a period of 30 years between June 1990 and June 2020. During my tenure, I worked in several positions in the School Office.

The School Office is like the main pillar of the school. Working in the School Office provided me exciting opportunities to interact and serve the Brothers, Teaching and Non-teaching staff, students and the parents daily. Looking back, I feel that these enriching interactions made me a better person today – both personally and professionally.

I cannot forget the beautiful time I had with my colleagues. I thank my colleagues for all the beautiful memories they have given me.

Finally, I would like to thank all the Montfort Brothers of Boys Town for their support in the past 30 years. Throughout my tenure, my Boys Town family was always with me – in both good times and bad times.

THANK YOU DEAR RETIRED STAFF!
